How I review

The basics
- Every review on this site is written by me, Yer Man. Nobody else posts here.
- I review popcorn I've actually eaten, usually bought with my own money.
- No ads, no paid reviews, no affiliate links, and no money or favours in exchange for a score.
Freebies
Sometimes a brand sends popcorn. If I didn't pay, the review carries a pink Giftedlabel at the top. A freebie doesn't buy a better score, and brands don't see a review before it goes up.
The score
Out of 10, on taste, crunch, coating, freshness and whether it was worth the money.

How the lists are sorted
| Sort | How it works |

| Newest (default) | Date posted, newest first |
| Top rated | My score out of 10, then how many people have looked at it |
| Most viewed | How many times the review page has been opened (an anonymous counter) |
Nobody can pay to rank higher, and the same rules apply to every brand.
Connections to brands
If I'm ever connected to a brand I review — I work for it, it pays me, or it's run by family or friends — I say so clearly at the top of that review. Same scoring rules either way.
Mistakes
If I get a fact wrong, tell me (contact details) and I'll fix it. Edited reviews say so.
